Features

The satisfaction survey where the experience happens.

A fixed tablet at the exit, a QR sign at the food court, another at the front desk. Each one is a collection point, and results show the NPS for each place — no paper forms to retype later.

A QR code sign for each location

Create a sign for every place where you want to hear from customers: exit, restaurant, attraction, counter. Each sign has its own address, so changing the survey's general link doesn't break the ones already printed, and a sign that ended up in the wrong place can get a new address on its own.

  • ✓SVG QR code, ready to print
  • ✓One response per device and a bot check, just like the open link
  • ✓Up to 100 collection points per survey

A tablet that resets itself for every visitor

In kiosk mode, the tablet shows "Tap to give feedback", runs the questionnaire and, after the thank-you screen, goes back to the start for the next person. If someone walks away mid-survey, the tablet asks "Are you still there?" and, with no answer, starts over.

  • ✓Time without a tap before restarting: 45 seconds by default, adjustable from 15 seconds to 10 minutes
  • ✓Thank-you screen: 6 seconds by default, adjustable from 3 to 30
  • ✓Full-screen button and the screen kept on in browsers that allow it
  • ✓Guidance in the dashboard to lock the tablet to the survey: Guided Access on iPad and Screen pinning on Android

No login on the tablet: pairing by code

The tablet never gets a username or password for your account. In the dashboard, you create the kiosk and generate a pairing code; on the tablet, you open the browser and type the code or point the camera at the QR shown on screen.

  • ✓8-character code, valid for 10 minutes and usable once
  • ✓Pairing a new tablet to the same point disconnects the previous one
  • ✓Disconnect from the dashboard at any time if the tablet goes missing

If the internet drops, answers stay on the tablet

With the survey open, each answer is stored on the tablet itself and sent as soon as the connection is back, without duplicates when a send is retried. The answer enters the results with the time the person answered, not the time it reached the server.

  • ✓In the dashboard: tablet online or offline, when it was last seen and how many answers are waiting to be sent
  • ✓Answers the server rejects, such as one missing a required question added while the tablet was offline, are counted in the dashboard and can be discarded
  • ✓Disconnected from the dashboard, the tablet keeps what it stored: paired again to the same point, it sends it

Portuguese, English and Spanish with one tap

Turn on the languages you want and translate each text of the questionnaire in the dashboard. The tablet shows the flags of the languages turned on, and switching language mid-survey keeps what the person already answered. Anything left untranslated shows in the original language.

  • ✓Starting language set per kiosk
  • ✓The same translations work on the open link and on the QR signs
  • ✓Filter by response language in the results

The NPS for each point, and a callback for unhappy customers

Results show the NPS for each collection point and can be filtered by point and by language. Low scores go into follow-ups, as on any channel, and the survey can ask "Would you like us to get in touch?": name, phone or email are stored only with the person's consent.

  • ✓Excel and CSV export with point and language columns; the PDF states which segment was exported
  • ✓Works with questionnaires, available from the Pro plan and in the 14-day trial
  • ✓The tablet is yours: any device with a browser and internet to open the survey

Questions about kiosk mode and QR codes

Do I need to buy a survey kiosk stand or a specific tablet?

No. WiseData NPS doesn't sell hardware: kiosk mode runs in the browser of any tablet, and the signs are the QR code you download and print. To keep the tablet in place, use any desk or floor stand you like.

Does the kiosk work offline?

The tablet needs internet to open the survey. Once it's open, if the connection drops, answers keep being collected and stay stored on the tablet until the internet is back, when they are sent.

What's the difference between the QR sign and the kiosk?

With a sign, people answer on their own phone, once per device. With a kiosk, the tablet stays on site and is answered by one visitor after another, resetting itself in between. Both are collection points of the same survey, and results show the NPS for each.

Can someone leave the survey and use the tablet for something else?

The browser can't prevent that on its own. That's why the dashboard recommends turning on Guided Access on iPad (Settings › Accessibility) or Screen pinning on Android (Settings › Security), which lock the tablet to the survey.

Which plans include kiosk mode?

The kiosk and QR signs work with questionnaires, which are in the Pro, Business and Enterprise plans and unlocked in the 14-day trial. The Free plan doesn't include questionnaires.

Put the survey in your space.

14 days free, with questionnaires, kiosk and signs unlocked in the trial.
